My first blog post

So I finally set up a blog, not much to write about at the moment but I'm going to uclan in September to study software engineering which I'm sure will give me plenty to write about.
One of the interesting things I noticed whilst setting up this blog is the open ID which is cool but is just a shame more sites don't use it (last.fm).

So there many not be many posts here in the next month or so you may want to follow my twitter feed as I probably wont be able to justify a full blog post to just share something I find on the internet that I like, I say a full blog post and yes this is quite short.

I guess i could talk about myself a bit (reminds me I need to fill in the description field) well as I said I will be studying software engineering at uclan in September, I'm a Linux user (Kubuntu with kde 4) so I'm a bit of an open source advocate. Some of my favortie websites/ podcasts include;
